Inequality
A statement using <, >, ≤ or ≥ instead of =, expressing a range of valid values.
Definition
Solve inequalities like equations, except: multiplying or dividing both sides by a negative number flips the direction of the inequality.
Example
2x + 3 < 11 → 2x < 8 → x < 4.
