Reciprocal

The reciprocal of a number x is 1/x. Multiplying a number by its reciprocal gives 1.

Definition

The reciprocal of 4 is ¼. The reciprocal of ⅔ is 3/2. The reciprocal of 0 does not exist (division by zero is undefined).

Example

Reciprocal of 5 is 1/5. Reciprocal of 2/3 is 3/2.
